Basilicom, Koh Samui
Basilicom is not just another restaurant, it's a culinary gem!
The soul of Basilicom is the pita bread, baked to order in their Taboon; the creamy and nutty hummus, crunchy falafel, and the sizzling meat and fish grilled over hardwood charcoal. They offer big plates of food and a chance to taste a large variety of cultural influences on the cuisine of Israel, Eastern Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
We have found hotels with good reviews that keep you close to all the action,
Chaweng Beach area is One of the biggest and best beaches in Samui and is the epicentre of Samui’s nightlife (gay and straight) with numerous bars, restaurants, shops as well as a huge choice of hotels. Lamai Beach / Hua Thanon are further down from the popular Chaweng Beach. It is generally quieter, with calmer waters and a more “chilled out” vibe at most of the resorts. BoPhut / Choeng Mon Beach are more laid-back than Chaweng and offers views of Koh Phangan.
This property is 15 minutes walk from the beach. Alpha Gentlemen’s Retreat (Gay Resort) in Chaweng features adults-only accommodation with a fitness centre, a terrace and a shared lounge. This hotel is always fun
